 Hack-e-thon-2019

DCE Darbhanga will be organizing ‘Bootcamp and Hackathon on Emerging technologies’ in the college campus on September 12-15, 2019 . We invite students, members of the faculty or other innovators to participate in this exciting event. The event aims to be a nationwide platform for the participants to find out solutions to socially relevant problems that can be solved through technology and life sciences. The event is scheduled as two separate events, Preliminary and Main. Participants have to qualify the preliminary Stage to participate in main Hack-e-thon. Preliminary Stage is an online platform where participants can submit the works done by them. From this participants will be selected to hack-e-thon main event.

Objectives of the event

The objectives of the hackathon-2019  are to identify solutions for relevant problems existing in various sectors prevalent in the rural and urban community. The selected outcomes will be given medals ,cash prizes , certificates and would get an opportunity to get evaluated  for Incubation at Incubation Centre IIT Patna, and if hitched will be nurtured with a seed funding as per norms.

The participants will be required to work on any of the following problem statements:

• Health and wellness
• Transport
• Environment and disaster management
• Government-citizen interface
• Safety security
• Smart homes
• Digital agriculture
• Finance and commerce
• Others
